the amp should be 1 ohm stable right? if it is then you want a dual 2 ohm sub

if the amp is 1 ohm, u need a dual 2ohm
but I know alot of kicker stuff is 2ohm stable; so if its 2ohm stable amp, get a dual 4ohm.

it puts out 600 watts @ 1 ohm, which means he should get the DVC 4 ohm subs so he can wire it to a 1 ohm load

dvc 4ohm subs wire down to 2ohms...

if he had 2 dual 4ohm subs he could wire them to 1ohm..

so yea, you wanna run that subs at 2 ohm, because the amp is (600 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms)

if you get the kx1200.1 then make sure you get the 2ohm version cause that amp is 1200wrms at 1ohm.

i would def. get the kx1200.1. and if you do, like chad said, get the 2 ohm version and wire it in parallel, giving you a 1 ohm load.
