Looking for a pair of 10" subs to fit in a Chevy Avalanche.Major problem is a 5 1/2" mounting depth.I'm running a pair of Kenwoods now, sound like CR** I was looking at the cerwin vegas V-Max.Running of a 5ch amp (rated @ 300x1 @ 2ohms)probably will buy new mono amp if the budget allows.Any ideas

V-Max's are nice. Assassins are good. Type-R's are nice as well. RE SE's are good.

I think the '04 V-Max's have a pretty small mounting depth...Assassins do as well...

Maybe a pair of RE RE series woofers, they're smaller yet, and perform well.
