Since like no one is ever in the speaker section of these forums...

What do you all think of kickpods for components? Do they work well + are they worth the money? I was thinking about purchasing some when I buy a new car (to keep myself from messing with the cars interior too much).

installation is one of the most important factors in how speakers sound. i have kick panels and went back to coaxials for a few days while i was changing stuff around a while back. huge difference!! but depending on your car, kick panels may not be the best way to go.

also, 6.5 inch speakers in kick pods take up a lot of space and you usually still can't get enough air space in the enclosure when compared to the door to get decient bass responce. thats why i went with a 3 way set up. keeps 6.5 in doors with plenty of air space and 4 inch midrange takes up a lot less space on my floor, lol. may want to think about that.

definally have them custom made. do not try to use thoes Q-Forms. they are crap imo.
