ive heard their lower and stuff and it is complete Sh!t, but i guess every audio companys is. nice amps though! trust me dont spend a little bit of money on your system youll always want to go louder, its an addiction. save up and you wont be dissapointed

JBL has been around a while. They do seem to put a good bit of effort into the higher end gear.

They have nice amps, although their s/n ratio is a little low IMO.

Ok, I just checked. I think you all (except Daniel) have the GTi confused with the GTO!

The GTO is the lower end line, a step up from that is the Power series, and above that is the GTi.

The GTi is an SPL woofer it appears. Personally, I'd go with the Power series for a mix of SQ and SPL (or SQL). Unless what you're looking for is a large amount of SPL, with little SQ. The GTO series though, isn't anything to talk about really.

The GTI subs ARE NOT CRAP. They have an excellent motor design (DDD) and are great SQL subwoofers.
