open them in Paint, CTRL W will open the scew/stretch. try 50%, should be enough to fit.
dynamat helps reduce rattles and vibration. it is a sound deadner so it will keep more inside sound in and outside sound out. can increase spl a little. it can also be used to keep heat/cold out/in like insulation.
