After my mmats amp broke and I sold my sx's, I need another setup. I want this to be my last one for a while. since I am a little on a budget (paint job) do you think I should get two havoc 15's, or three type r 15's? I want something that will play as loud as my sx's with the same or better sq. I have a 200 amp alternator and I need another amp. Everything would be in a tahoe. I would like to spend ~$1000. Since the havocs would be 650 for the pair, are you saying that I could find that amp for about $400, more or less? Also, do you think the havoc would have the sq of the type r or sx?
Also, on a side note i have now heard the true meaning of sql. Some guy at a car show had four idmax's with rainbow components. It sounded amazing
That would sound amazing. I think mine sounds amazing (Arsenals and Infinity Kappa comps) but that would blow mine out of the water. Of course $ is a factor also.
Hey, another question. If the havocs run me a little over budget are there any more 15 inch subs that will retain sq and match the output of the type r's? If I don't get the two havocs I want three of whatever other subs that would compare.
you are going to need a solid amp of about 2000 watts. kicker 2500.1 would be a nice one
