Ok if I have two 12" dvc 4 ohm subs and I wire them in series/parallel to get a final impedence of 4ohms and I have a amp that is 500x1 rms @ 4ohms how much power will each sub get 250rms? thanks im a little confused.
also for the two subs should I be looking at a mono amp or a 2 channel and bridge it?
either amp would be fine IMO. At 500w the benifit of a class D is minimal, and if you go with a good sized 2 ch - if you ever decide to upgrade your sub power it will make a good component/full range amp. Not the case w/class D.
