Can you all respond regarding the following: I am near purchasing the Magellan Roadmate 360 GPS Auto Navigation System @ $450. from Costco. it would be cheaper than the Factory, however my Truck is outside and would have to remove it each night. Any one know the cost of a Factory in dash unit would run? I know I would be paying for another radio also and I would also be stuck with the 05 fractory radio/CD player. Just wondering if any of you have had trouble with these dash mounted units?
I have a Magellan Roadmate 700 I purchased a few years back, It originally was a gadget toy sort of thing,but turned out to be a very helpful tool. I have a couple of cars I use it in with a suction cup mount or customized another to fit on dash area of my truck. Magellan has accy's. to do multiple setups. Has been flawless so far, and would have no problem unclipping it each time I leave the vehicle, and tuck it away.
