I currently have 2 Pioneer TSW306C 12inch subwoofers (dvc 400watt rms, 1000max). I want to replace my old amp which is a soundstorm F2800(i didn't want that amp it just came with the speakers off of ebay) with a Hifonics Titan TX1005d monoblock. It is suppose to put out 1x300 at 4ohms, 1x700 2ohms, and 1x1000 at 1ohm. Since my speakers are 4ohm dvc i should be able to run them in parallel and get 700watts going to them at 2ohms. Do any of you out there know anything about the quality of hifonics amps and is the 700watts to much for those speakers? Those are my questions can anyone help me out?

Oh ok.I don't want to run them at 4 ohms and 300 watts cause i'm already giving them that much. The amp is suppose to put out 1x1000 at 1 ohm,but that will most likely pop them though huh?

they can hold that amount cuz hifonics gives 70% of their rated power so it should get like 800w at 1 ohm
