Damnit Don't know sh*t...I'll probably end up blowing all my money on P.o.s. subs...I have an Alpine T707 and I'm wanting to upgrade my subs (P.O.S. 12's). From reading other forums I heard that it's better for me just to purchase one sub than to purchase two... is that right? In any case, what dual voice coil sub or subs should I purchase to match my amps ohms and RMS? How would I bridge it? THANKS!

Alpine T707 Specs:
2 Channel
14.4V:
RMS Continuous Power
4ohm 100Wx2
2ohm 170Wx2
Bridged 4ohm; 340Wx1
Frequency Response: 10-50kHz

What is your budget?
That amp in your car will probably put out 300w rms or less.
If money is not a problem, JL 10W7 in HO box will give you tons of bass.

Yeah the specs are right there... 340w X 1 4ohms, Money isn't that bad a problem but I'd like to spend under $250.

dont forget those ratings are at 14.4 volts, youll get less power since the avg car puts out 13.5 volts

If you want SQ, then save another $200 and get JL 10W7 in HO box.
You won't regret it.
