4 ohm or 2 ohms

Daryl Blackston Bronze Member Username: Black013 Post Number: 51 Registered: Apr-05	Posted on Friday, February 24, 2006 - 04:56 GMT I just bout 2 12's L7and when I look on instruction booklet it says 4 ohm L7 can be wired for 2 ohm load and the 2ohm speaker can be wired to a 1ohm load but heres my problem I have a 1 ohm stable amp so should I have got the 2 ohm solo or the 4 ohm solos because I thought 2 12L7 can be wired to a 1 ohm load ?

blaine westropp Gold Member Username: Blainew Post Number: 1005 Registered: Nov-05	Posted on Friday, February 24, 2006 - 05:58 GMT if they are dual 4 ohms each you can wire it to a 1ohm load...if they are single 4 ohms each you can get to a two ohm load im pretty positive they are dual 4 ohms each thought so you should be fine
