I purchased 2 alum 12q 6 ohm subs. What amp would you suggest to push them. Should I cut my losses now and try to sell them and start over? I understand audiobahn is not very popular here.

I will try to sell them. I am renovating a 1978 ford van. I do not have an electrical system upgrade. My initial plan for my sound system included two subs that would fit under my bed. Bed is not constructed yet. Two sets of 6x9's for the rear and a set of 6.5's for the front doors. My budget is about $1,000 plus or minus. I guess you can tell that I don't know what I am doing. My only experience with this was installing a few 8-track players back in the day. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I decided to lower my bed height and would like to install 10 inch woffers instead of 12. Thank you.

if you like the subs, that's your call, but 6 ohm subs are designed for running three at a time, not two, so if you plan to keep them, buy a third one.
