I am getting the CDT-62 comps. I know this is the speaker forum but, can someone recommend a good two channel amp for these comps? I believe they are 175W RMS.

ppi pcx 2200 / Im may be selling mine. Its in mint condition and puts out 200 x 2 @ 4 ohm / 400 x 2 @ 2 ohm / 800 x 1 @ 4 ohm bridged and thats at 12V.

I have sold many things on here before and you can confirm this with anyone on here. Im suleman36 on ebay and am selling a ppi a300 and a crossfire vr1000D amp on there also / $375 plus shipping for the ppi pcx 2200 amp. Perfect fit for that HD62 set. I own that set with the 480 crossover and DRT25 tweeter

Paul give me a call if you like but I'd get the USAmp IS-4085(85x4) and bridge it. I am selling them and they're on a blowout deal, 200$ shipped. This is from the manufacturer so everything is new.

What would be the ratings if I bridge the amp? Will that be enough power for the comps? Doesn't that effect SQ?

PPI PCX 2200 is much better amp then the US AMPS IS-4085. You can just run it 200 x 2 @ 4 ohm stereo. Even has a built in fan and incredible crossover and build quality.

Mo, I will agree the PPI amp is better. But I was trying to keep the cost under 250. Do you have other suggestions?

My other suggestion whould be a JL 300/2 or a PPI A600 or A600.2 which are extemely hard to get.
