for one...your gonna want alot more airspace than 4cuft for 2 15's.

for daily, try 6-7cuft w/ 70-80sq inches of port. tune to 30-32hz.

for spl...tune the box to peak at you vehicals res. freq.

cars resonant a different freqencies...if you tune your box to have peak output at your vehicles resonance freqency you will a high SPL. A box tuned like this will be a 1-note wonder though (not to be used for daily listening...just for SPL comps)

that box is better...but you still wont have enough port area. you will need ~70sq inches of port area or you will get port noice.

hey marshal, how do you determine how much port area is needed? because if 2 SEs need 70sqin and you said 100sqin would be more than enough for my 2 15 mags and they have over double the excursion of the SEs. just wonderin.

a decent rule of thumb is 12-15sq inches of port per cuft of box.

100sq inches is plenty for nearly any pair of 15's in ~8cuft.
