The Nakamichi wouldn't even come close and neither would the Mcintosh. The Ural has the most EQ processors right behind the F1 but its all in one unit, can't beat that. |

The Rainbow Reference 3 ways alone will run you $10,000. I wouldn't want the Ural for the same reason that others want it. Too much crap packed in one DIN size unit, which means they cut the component quality to get it there. It'll be a single tiny chip set, the same way that cell phones have acquired so many features in smaller spaces over the years. Moore's law coming into play. Doesn't make it high quality in any sense, though. |
