I was wondering about how well MDF, particle board, and fiberglass works with boxes. As in sound quality and loudness. Which is best? Whish is worst? Do they all sound good?
mdf is the most practical. Fiberglass works just as well, but not nearly as practical. Particle board isn't worth its weight in... whatever it should be worth its weight in. It's not solid and rigid enough. The screws have the potential of falling out/stripping/breaking because the wood is no flimsy.
