actually my type xs are better than i thought. i messed around with the settings on my amp and found a setting that compliments the subs very well.

The daytona s are too weak their magnet are too small and wattage is too low

wattage is the same as the r's lol.. thats a pretty good looking sub on paper chauncy.. fs is 22 hz! how do they sound?

and with the power rating they are both 500 watts rms and thats all that matters... peak/max ratings are meaningless

lol chauncy.. but yeh u cant judge a sub by its magnet.. the magnet is only 1 piece of the puzzle. theres alot more to a subwoofer than that

I have nothing againts the R's, for the price there pretty darn good, but if you can afford to do better do it..

Also u might like the Kicker CVR's

Alot of people either like the cvr's and hate the r's or vise versa
