I have a 92 explorer and the radio works, but the speakers dont. I was trying to install a different radio because the factory one didnt work. I bought the adapter that it said I needed, but I didnt get the adapter for the speakers. Then I really screwed up and cut the speaker connecter off and tried to splice it to the radio speaker wires. I finally figured out I needed an adapter for that, so I spliced the end back on the speaker connecter and hooked it up to the deck using the right adapter. Now the deck comes on but there is absolutely not a sound coming out of the speakers. Can someone PLEASE tell me what I need to do or what I need to check to fix it.
