I am sorry this message is so long. I thought the details might help. I had a friend install my amp and woofer in my car. When I tested then at his house the system worked fine, except there was a loose power wire that I fixed when I got home. I tested the system again and they worked again. However, my friend did a crappy wire managemet job... I relocated the remote wire, and reattached it to the same place he had it. Now there is no signal going to the amp. All of the wires are connected securely as I double checked all of them. I then proceeded to check to see if there was voltage from the RCA wires, and found only about 1mV, I know this is not enough. I also checked the continuity of the wires, they were good. What could cause this to happen, and what could I do to correct this issue.

Is there power at the remote wire? that is what turns the amp on and off.

Actually, I found the issue. It was just a blown fuse. Thanks for the advice though.
