About hooking 2 amps to 1 cap

I have two amps and a 5 farad cap, and was wondering if it is possible to have both amps run into the one cap. (1 positive and 1 neg terminal on cap.) any help?? Thanks

You can run 2 amps into one cap if desired. Wire it according to the manual and charge it correctly as well. Make sure you use the appropriate ga. wire and run all of the ground wires to the same point to eliminate "ground loop" problems.

cap would need to be in parallel with both amps.
if one amp is for components though, just put the cap on the sub amp.. all the capacitor will do is act as a filter anyway. it won't help a great deal if you lack the current needed for the amplifiers.
