I want to put a second battery in my trunk would I have to run a 0awg wire to the battery in the back and another one back to the (-) in the front?or is there an easier way to do this?

it dosnt HAVE to be 0 gauge...but it's a safe bet.

Or you could get a little gasoline powered generator. :-D

Short of that..? Nope..gotta send a wire back. (I personally send one for pos, as well as a dedicated ground, as well, that way I dont have to ground to my chasis at all and worry about if the ground is 100% good, as well as what part of the car it's grounded too...cutting out risk of voltage loss due to spot welds, insufficient current carrying capacity of the chasis, etc.)

the size of the wire depends on the distance it's run and the amount of current drawn through it.

if you're using a starter battery and one for the audio system, you'll also need a battery isolator rated for at least the output of your alternator.
