I had that problem......It turns out on mine that when I replaced one door speaker, some wire got mixed up on the speaker and it caused all the sound went except the sub. Sounds like the same problem. Did you replace any speakers lately?
what kinda of car is it? you might have a factory amp that needs to be bypassed. and is the deck a pioneer? pioneers won't play sound if a speaker isnt hooked up properly or at all.
