Bronze Member Username: Mrmoe75Post Number: 30 Registered: Aug-05 | i have 2 mtx 6000's in a vented box but is seems like the sound would better with a sealed box. i have always used sealed boxes in the past and i like the sound better. it seems like i am losing power with the vented box. i just wanted to know which would be better or which will sound the best? |

Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 4411 Registered: Jun-04 | ive never heard a sealed box i liked better than ported with any sub |
Bronze Member Username: Mrmoe75Post Number: 31 Registered: Aug-05 | i purchesed the box because it was a mtx bass slammer box so i assumed that it would be tuned right. i think i may go with the sealed box. how big of a box should i go with. i have a tahoe so space is not as issue. |

If they subs require say 1.5cu ft per driver, give them 1.65cu ft per driver and give lots of power, i'd say 300RMS more than required. This gives good overhead and makes sure you give the sub some solid power. |
