getting ready for my big install this weekend and i have a quick question. does it matter how far away the x-overs are from the component speakers? in the back of my ext. cab ranger me and my pops are building a special rack to level out the back, my 2 amps (one for my sub and one for my compoents) will be under neath it bolted to the floor while my sub box will sit on top of the rack. would i be able to have both x-overs for my front components underneath the rack where my amps are? it would be like this.

RIGHT XOVER - JBL AMP - KICKRE AMP - LEFT XOVER

let me know if the distance betweens speaker/tweeter and X-over matters cuz i can always mount them under my front dash, just thought it would be nice to have everything hidden in the same spot. thanks!

Any extra wire will cause additional resistance in the circuit. The resistance is so low, however, you wouldn't notice the difference unless hundreds of feets of wire were used.

You can place them wherever you want.
