The TSX takes well over its rated RMS!
I can barely make them move with my 1000d!
yet, it feels like...........................
lets say an EARTHQUAKE!
my floor board vibrates, dash, side panels, steering wheel, seats, mirrors.
Take a look @ what I got at the momemnt.

Although the TSX is a great sub, u cant compare it to a sx. Maybe a SSI, and the sx would still get louder, not sure if the sx could stand with the sq of the treo's though.

I have seen people running RF T30001bd on a pair of sx's and they still sound like they want more power...

the SSI is a great sub, CB I can only speak of TREO, cause its all I use personally.
my boi is putting 4000rms on 1 SSI 18! he also has 2 18s, and is getting another 4000rms amp!
That alone will hit 156 on the new TL! They already measured it!

Would the Treo SSI be a SQL sub?

SSI is a SQ sub.
TSX & older brother SSX are SQL subs.
CSX is straight SPL sub!

if you power the SSI correctly, it will get tremendously loud. So to answer your question, yes it sounds amazing and gets loud.

Would 1000+ wrms be enough to get SSI loud or will it be too much for it?

Acutally it will take that like its nothing!
Ive seen someone with 1200rms on each 10inch ssi's! He had a pair in a sealed box. The SQ was out of this world. You cannot go wrong with TREO!

remember the SSi is an sq sub it wont get as loud as an SX with the same amount of power. but yes 1000watts is enough to get it going. The TSX is a great sub it has amazing output and power handleing for the price, yet still keeps enough SQ to make everyone happy.

B have you seen the specks for the CXT? jesus it makes the CSX look like a pussay.

Jake pass me the link with the specs of the CXT.
Hadnt seen the specs yet. But the pics are killer!
my boi just passed up 2 SSX 18s for the 2 SSI 18s.
those SSX are EXPENSIVE!

Jake, the TSX doesnt get 1/4 the credit it deserves. lol
I was SLAMMING earlier, and the SQ was remarkable. And I have a ported box! Makes me think how these would song in a sealed box. But i doubt im going to give up my ported box..
Im gettin ready to change amp also, ive made up my mind. These subs arent even getting powered..lol

get 2 15' Tsxs and put a 1000/1 on each. or you could do only 1 1000/1. the more power the better they will perform.

u couldnt ask for much more, but im goin to be competing...
Team DEAF Squad!!!!

I must say the TREO will kill that Type R.

I dont use the SSI on a daily basis, but I will say SSI, cause its a SQ sub, it should play everything with quality!!!
If you want soo much quality, just stick it in the sealed box, its still going to tear something up!!

with my tsx in ported I still have a nice

The Treo SSi is an excellent sub and I agree with whats being said. I just got a 15" SSi and it sounds great, I haven't even had the gains fixed I'm still breaking it in. I have it in a ported box, because the ported box is sapossed to add like 18 dbs, according to a treo rep. I pushing it with a 1200 watt mono and it sounds excellent. Treo won't let you down.
