or unless youre talking about underpowering and damaging the sub.

underpowering the sub, will not fry the amp or the sub.

but if you have the gains set all the way up, then the amp is going to clip.

im pretty sure underpowering your sub really damages the sub.

how would underpowering a sub damage it? it just dosent make sense

B is right, underpowering a sub will not hurt the sub unless u do not set the gains correctly, which would cause the amp to send a clipped signal to the sub

i thought i read it somewhere.

i thought it was a different problem the amp clipping.
