i guess maybe this should go in the amp section but technically its about ressitors not amps so whatever lol

okay for amps besides JL amps you need a dummy load for an accurate reading with a dmm right? if i got 2 of these
http://cgi.ebay.com/PARMA-2-Ohm-Resistor-for-Speed-Controler-with-Heat-Sink_W0QQ itemZ6031076930QQcategoryZ7318QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
would those work as a dummy load. with 2 i could wire 1 for a 2 ohm load 2 in parallel for 1 ohm load and 2 in series for a 4 ohm load. but will they take the tuning of like 1000w amplifiers?
if you know of other resistors that will work that i could buy let me know too. thanks.

link says resistor is 2ohms, but how many wattS?
u trying to use it as a dummy resistor to measure an amp? u will have to measure ac voltage & current with the correct resistor.

If you do a search, there was already a thread on this.
