Gold Member Username: Tdeaton1021Near Tampa, Florida USA Post Number: 1651 Registered: Sep-04 | hey i noticed youve heard the SI mags. ive been trying to find someone on this forum who has heard them. im a member of the SI forum but they only know about SI subs mostly. i had an avalanche and i MUST have a subwoofer that can surpass match or damn near match its lows and excursion (because i like alot of air movement)also its SQ. i know the sq of the ava gets a little muddy up high but suposedly a mag wont? itd be great to hear everything you know about the mags. i was looking into 2 15 mags with 2 1000/1s ported in the same box, appx 8-9 cuft tuned to 30hz with a super large port, possibly a single 12x 12 inch port or maybe 2 9x9 inch ports. idk maybe the design will change, it will eb a little while before i can get everything. i want extrreme lows great sq and reach close to 150 decibels. i think it can be done with those woofers... |
