Monday, January 23, 2006 - 01:15 GMT How many amps would i need from an alternater to get a steady 14-15v if i have 2-3 Optima redtop batteries and 2 amps that have a total of 270 amps?

Monday, January 23, 2006 - 15:01 GMT you need much more than that. you just said you have 2 amplifiers that have a total of 270amps. that means you need 270 plus whatever you car electricals need. i'd say get a 350amp ho alt and redtop for starter and an extra yellowtop.
