But spl is a totally diffrent story. 2 r's would be louder than 1 13w6 and a 12w7

In the case of the above question, I'd take the 13W6v2 over two Type Rs. Two type Rs would be about the same as a single 12W7 in SPL, but louder than a single 13W6v2.
