i'm not sure about the newest subs, but this is how the 2005 line ranked in power handling:

RE, SE, SX, XXX, MT

the XXX was rated to handle more power, but the SX is more efficient. (ex, give them both 1000w and the SX would be louder)

if i'm not mistaken the RS line is supposed to be between the RE and SE lines...the new XXX is supposed to be their super SQL sub. and the MX is totally new animal.

while we're on the subject of RE audio, how does this system sound: four 15inch SX subs with four RE 12.1 amplifiers?(the 15s will be in a ported box)

this is the system im hoping to get soon....

btw - can someone give me a link to the RE prices

i dunno if that would be enough unless u had an @ss load of batteries

the X.x.X defintaely has more spl than the SX with the right right power for each sub. The X.x.X has the xbl^2 motor. i have an X.X.X and a friend has the SX, both of us have the same amp with 1200 watts, and there is no comparison.
