I was wondering, what are some ways an amp kit can fail? Are there ways amp kits can fail? Say I get a used or new amp kit and not use it for a while, is there wear ans tear?
When installing wiring in a car for amplifiers it is always a good idea to use new wiring. Even if you were extremely careful in removing wiring from a vehicle in order to recycle it, there is still a chance of damage to the insulation or the wire. As far as i know, the kits do not deteriorate sitting in a box or the store shelf. Really the only way one can fail is by improper installation or recycling of used wire in order to save a buck or two. New wiring will save you possible headaches and blown fuses in the end.
