when designing the system, make it a SQ system.
Prob a seal box and some real good SQ subs.

Ok,
I will tell u what u need for STREET BEAT!
You need some large tubes or pipes like this..
It really makes the Bass go FARRR
U will have to make sure its air tight around the subs..
But those pipes are like 300$ that if you can find them in sizes 12" or 15"
That is unless you are in construction....
Also the removal of the back seats..

This is what they do in serious street beat competitions..
lol

Scott, theyll hear yah about 8 blocks away!!
The sound wave will travel like hell!!
Try it, if you are going that route! It will put up amazing numbers!!!

Otherwise just get some real good SQ subs, and a really large box. Tune port low. But box is key here.

its possible with the correct subs and enough amp power! I said b4 it will be hard to get those tubes, u cant buy em! unless u buy lets say 1000 of em! I also doubt you have enough amp power to do it! So forget about that idea... lol

that JL w3 is not an SPL sub!
Just go with a big ported box with that sub.
how much RMS are u giving it?

u cant make miracle happen, with the wrong equipment.
It may not sound loud to u, but the sound wave travels far, especially the lower ones under 30hz!

more amp power will help.
but i dont want to be responsible for blowing your subs.
But the biggest trick in competing, is to double the power! I know it sounds crazy...
lol
But thats what they do, and it hittsss HARRRDDDD
U just have to be responsible, & know that you cant bump it full blast for more than 8 mins or so.
It really depends on the sub here, and how fast the voice coils heats up..

I cant tell you for sure, u just have to try diffrent designs, cause it depends on the subs characteristcs.
672rms on a 300rms, seems like you already doubled it!
Add a second sub and amp. that will give u a extra 3db by just adding a extra sub!
