re definately. a lot of re's subs are louder than some kicker subs, however overall kicker has more spl, but re will last longer and sound a lot better. not sure bout the amps, kicker makes good amps so ill probly hav 2 say kicker in that category, but my guess is that re makes better components since components r meant for sq and kicker doesnt do good w/ sq
