I have 2 12 w6v2s running off a 1000/1 in a sealed box built to jl specifications. Its plenty loud, but how much of a difference would I notice if I switched to a ported box?
i have had one w6-v2 in a sealed enclosure and then put into a ported enclosure to jl's specs and it sounded so much better. hit lower then the sealed box did, and was much louder.
sealed boxes will be deeper then ported boxes b/c ported boxes rolloff at whatever FQ you tune the box to. but the ported box generally will be louder.

Hey thanks for the advice you guys, I think I'm gonna go with ported and see how it works out.
