Thursday, January 12, 2006 - 05:04 GMT well 1stly ur amp has 2 be a good brand & not some econo generic full range amp i'm darn sure on my alpine 545 i saw it goes down low - i could check it back 4u 2morrow , i'm running 2 pairs of Inf 6.5" Ref comps off my amp .....

Thursday, January 12, 2006 - 12:09 GMT before you start hooking upm subs, make sure the ohm load is correct, 4ohm bridged for a 4 channel and 2ohm stereo. just dont start bidging.

Thursday, January 12, 2006 - 19:16 GMT every 4 ch I've ever seen (that has a crossover at all) has a crossover for each PAIR of channels, and yes - it is common to run a 4 ohm sub off two bridged channels and use the other two for a pair, or two pairs of speakers.
