I saw a guy that posted in this other forum about a sale on Massive Audio subs. He priced the competition series (CW) at $210 for a 12" model. Here's a link to their site. Tell me what you think.

never heard of them.. they dont look bad from the looks of them but that doesent mean anything.. i rather get 2 type r's or something off ebay for 200?, im pretty sure the R's are capable of handling 600RMS each and have good SQ and get loud

massiveaudio subs are nice, but are mainley geared toward spl not sq

According to the specs, they aint bad. I wouldn't brag about them though. They beat the DMX series though lol.

They are suitable in sealed/infinite baffle designs. The QTS is .642 @ 2 ohm, and .732 at 4 ohm. Either way it isn't suited for ported.

For a 12" the Qms is really weak at 5.2, and so is the Qes at .733. Basicly they are not that efficient.

You want a low Qes and a high Qms. Low Qes = high motor energy. High Qms = tight rebound suspension.

Bl is at 11.79, which is ok, but nothing to brag about. If it were at 18, then ya, it would POUND.

The Vas is 27.12 Liter, which means you may use it in a small box.
