Your fuse could be too small for the amp. You could try putting in a bigger fuse and see what happens.

What is the amp's model/brand and the fuse size?
An amp shouldn't blow fuses without any load, regardless of the fuse size (within reason).

Hey, what size is the fuse you keep blowing. Above around 20-30amp u got a problem.
Firstly is to double check the power wiring to make sure it is hooked up right and to see if it havnt say chaffed or something and its earthing out.
I had this problem with my amp, I had wired it all up and it was working for about a week ok untill the amp blew up.
From then the amp itself was just shorting the (+) and (-) somehow.
I opened the amp up and found some MOStransistors not working and replaced them, when i hooked it up the blowing of the fuse was fixed but it still didnt work (must be another chip or something stuffed) anyway what i am saying is that the amp itself might be stuffed like mine.
