Im going to get a rockford P40004 amp to power four speakers. im going to wire a 6 1/2 and a 6x9 in parellel into one channel and the same for the other and hopefuly brige em. how do i make sure that the amp will recognize left and right sound to the sets? one set is right side of the rear car and other is the left.

cant do it, that amp is not stable 2ohms bridged

it says its 2 ohm stable though

only stereo mode.... not bridged

get the 3002 or the 5002 instead, then you can run them at 2 ohms stereo - each speaker would get 75 or 125w a piece.

ok thanks for the info, but the other thing is will the speakers recognize the difference between left and right sound?
