Mounting an amp on the back of my sub is it bad

i have a kenwood 800 watt sub and a kenwood 400 watt amp, is it bad for the amp if i mount it on the back of the sub box

Nope thats just fine, alot of people mount their amps like that cuz of wiring mess.

I remember seeing somewhere that it was ok, but not recomended, i think rovin had a thread about it a while back

so it doesnt wreck the amp,
cause i heard the vibrations from the sub wreck the amp is that true

Yes that is tru if U R runnin a massive sub like a Type X, Solo X, RF T2, and any thing that will brake your car in pieces, anyways it wrecks the amp after a long term use i don't recoment it, but that's how I have my car amp in the house. Its on the back of the sub box.

If your box is well made (rigid, well braced, made of thick MDF, and preferably small and sealed) you'll be fine.
