i just got my MB Quart RAA1000. I got it hooked up and it sounds real good but i cant really turn it up that loud without it clipping. I have it hooked up at 2 ohm's to one 12" alpine type R. Exactly what is it that causes clipping and how can i eliminate it. It lets me set the low pass to around 50 without anything happening but when i near 100-125 depending on the song it goes crazy.

the head unit shouldn't send a clipped signal till it's close to full volume.
clipping is more often caused by one or a combination of the following:
lack of current due to small power cable
lack of current due to weak charging system
amplifier input-sensitivity set too high, trying to compensate for a lack of amplifier power, or just being a newb and not knowing how to set gain properly.
bad ground point for the amp(s)
