ive been thinking about building a enclosure for my subwoofer. Does anyone know where i can find the material. And do you think i should carpet it and use dampening material?

You need to use 3/4 MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) some places only carry 5/8 about the same.. usually you can get it from Home Depo or Menards ect.. can run you around 18-30 bucks a sheet depends where you go and live, then some good wood glue, not chaulking it wont seal right, if you use wood screws make sure you pre drill all of them so you don't split the wood, I just use a finishing nail gun with 1 1/2 nails, and you can make it the cu. ft. what you want with this calculator http://ccs.exl.info/calc_box.html

you can go to like joanns, but liek go to a walmart and find a blanket that you like and buy it and cut it up and use it
