I have a really stupid question but I just want to make sure before I purchase.

Im looking to purchase a Clarion 4ch amp
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-k6FUlWogAPw/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=120&id=essential _info&i=020APA450#Tab

Im going to be powering 4 mid/high speakers. I have a separate 2ch amp for 2 12" subs already.

Ok down to the question. With 1 set of RCA's going from my HU to the "front" rca inputs on the amp, will I get the correct output on all 4 speaker terminals?

I dont want to use the rear input because it only has a Low Pass filter. I guess the other question to go along with this is do i need to have RCA's going to both Front and Rear inputs on the Amp in order to get 4 speakers out of it? My HU has 2 preamp outputs. One is being used for the sub amp, and the other for this.

So will the front RCA input only output to Front Left and Right Speakers...same for the Rear RCA input/output?

Thanks for helping a noob out.

I figured I needed both front and rear rca's. Ill have to get a couple Y-splitters. While Im at it, would 60x4rms from an amp be too much for these speakers?

Alpine SPS-170A

I may spend the money and get a slightly better amp that has full LP/HP filters for both front and rear.
