Hi folks, Just replaced my old faulty Panasonic unit with a Gamma unit on my 01 Golf tdi. However, the Gamma unit won't switch on - it will light up when the lights are on but the red LED flashes and nothing happens. Is there any cure for this or is the unit broken and i've wasted 30 pounds? Cheers
It sounds like you have the power wiring swtiched around-most likely the ignition or battery constant is hooked up to the light/illumination wire of the VW.
