is it ok to run my in-car speakers at 2ohm and what are the advantages/disadvantages??

Do I lose SQ much?

if those are 4ohm speakers the only way you can run them at 2ohms is to add anotherset of speakers or tweeters to them....4ohm +4ohms =2(series)

how many sets of speakers do you have, if only 2, then if you wire that way, you can use only 2 of your channels. you can not bridge that amp on a 2ohm load....

how do I identify the negative from the positive speaker wire? The previous car owner removed the back speakers and cut the wiring. I have attempted to measure ohms & volts with no definitive result
