Watts quick question

ok... if i have two 600W 4ohms 10" subs that have an RMS of 200 and a peak of the 600, will a 400 watt 2 channel amp be perfect for these?? this is what i have heard. the amp says it does 100W x2 @4 ohms... does this mean each channel does that or is that overall?? please help asap 2 questions

each sub will be getting 100W, half its rated RMS handling.

its always better to overpower your subs than to under power them
