I have a coustic 401DB mono block amp (400 rms) pushing 2 12" PPI subs. I'm lookin at getting another 401DB. I know bridging mono block amps is possible, i just don't know how. any help? They're dual 2ohm subs, the amp is 2 ohm stable. right now i have the voice coils ran in series, then bridged to the speaker box (1 speaker wire port)making the load 2 ohm.

even if you could strap those amps (not all monos are designed for that) the minimum impedance they could drive is 4 ohms b/c each amp would see 1/2.

that box is wired series/parrallel wired, you can not get a 2 ohm load for just 1 sub, those amps are not strappable and if you use both amps, you have to use them at a 4ohm load and if lucky see 200w, since you even need 14.4 to get that....
