Will i need a cap?

i have an 06 denali and will soon be running 2 kicker L7's and a kx2500.1 amp. i will also install an optima yellow top. will i need a cap? also i am running my factory bose nav head unit... will i be able to have this system with this factory head unit?

Dont worry about a capacitor until you get a high output alternator. :-)

dont get a cap. it puts more strain on ur alt. get a 230 + amp alternator first

Youll prob need more then a cap, I would go with an alternator and a batcap 400.

Don't, lots of people have advised me that itsn't worth it. Just buy a stronger battery and a bigger alternator...

yea jsut buy a better alternator.prolly gonna cost u more than a cap but its gonna b for yer own good...caps are nothing but trunk jewelry..it takes power from the alternator also, so forget that piece of junk...or even maybe get a smaller amp like 1200.1 u might not even need to get your alt changed..
