first id like to say i dont know much about systems but i do know if i wire two 4 ohm subs it would be a 1 ohm load but thast if i wire both subs into 1 amp right?well is there any way possible to wire 1 sub to 1 amp and make a 4 ohm sub 2 ohms?????? please help i cant get amp till i figure out all these questions i have. and what is teh best 2000 watt amp or 2 best 1000 watt amps.i know all about teh JL Audio 1000.1 but that is a little pricey. name absolute best amps no crappy ones. people keep telling me to get a Orion 2500d but since Orion sold its company/comapny name tehy suck now they are no where as good as they used to be

im running a kenwood 1700 watt mono amp to a fosgate series three 12" sub. what is the best wiring setup for max bass? and this will sound stupid but i have an eight gauge power wire when i think it needs a four gauge. will that reduce the bass?
