I bought a used Honda Civic that has a Clifford G4 alarm. It is pre-configured to auto-alarm 30 seconds after the doors are closed, and to beep the horn when alarming and disarming the alarm. I would like to turn off both of those settings; I know it can be done, but I don't have the G4 manual. I found the "valet" switch, but it just has a little thin metallic switch that can be toggled left or right; it is not the kind of valet switch (with keyhole and two buttons) pictured in the latest G5 manuals that I find online.
Can someone please tell me how I can use the valet switch to turn off the two features described above?
